Molly Monkey

A friend from Seminary started a new blog this year and it is chronicling her journey through the craft world for the next year. This month she found a great free pattern for Molly Monkey. For moral support, I decided to make one too. She finished her's first and it is very cute! Check out her blog for all the details!

I finally finished mine tonight - the hand sewing was brutal! I completely adore her though and hopefully Lily will like her too. The fabric for her skirt, shirt, and socks was leftover from the fabric my mom picked out for Lily's quilt. I think it is very becoming on Molly! :)

Isn't she cute!

Check out her little beret - I sewed a flower button on the top for some pizazz! It looks like she is going to get into some mischief too...

Loving her shoes! I need some too!

Yea! New pictures!

We has asked the orphanage a few weeks ago for an update and with that update we were lucky to have some new photos of Lily! She looks SO different since she has grown so much. She weighs about 20lbs (probably with clothes on!) so she has gained a few pounds since October. She is taking 3-4 steps independently and likes to babble alot.

We think she is adorable of course! And we are so blessed to get these pictures! We are coming Lily!

I love how she is pointing. She looks determined to either get something or to make herself clear.

Little pouty face

A Smile!

Love you already Lily!
