Who needs to buy clothes anymore....

when you can turn a garage sale tee.....

Girls size L Old Navy tee found at a garage sale for $1

into a 18-24month dress!
I took up the shoulders, narrowed the body and the sleeves and managed to reattach the sleeves!  The sleeves are a bit too long but I am going to just roll them up.  It was alot of work to get those sleeves right!  Plus a little embellishment with a flower!

Felt flower with pin backing - made with 4 felt circles and a fabric covered button

Here is Lily in the dress! I think she is adorable but I am a tad biased! :)  Not a great picture since she won't stand still for even 3 seconds - must be a 2 yr old thing..... or is that an any kid thing....

  6. That is an adorable upcycle, you did great! Lily is so cute, yeah kids that age are perpetual motion, makes it so hard to show them off in photos.

  12. Oh----Would you do a tutorial on how you "took up the shoulders" portion?? I just remade a bunch of tees into skirts and weird looking tank dresses, because I could NOT figure out the shoulders!! :o( hahaha I'm gonna follow you, just in case you decide to do it. FAB DRESS and even CUTER munchkin!!
